Click Edit in the top right to to go into Edit mode. The header bar should be green.
Create a new user in a group
Enter the group you would like the user to be in.
Create the user
- Stay on the Learners tab for creating a learner in the group.
- On the right hand side under Add learner, click New.
- Fill out Email, Forename and Surname and click Save.
- The user has now been created in the group.
Check their courses and licences
A user needs a licence to a product in order to be assigned any courses. If the group has a licence assigned then the new user will likely be assigned a licence automatically. You can see what licences were assigned under Licences when you select the user. You can also add a new one.

You can check which courses were assigned to the user under Courses when you have the user selected. You can add or remove courses by clicking on the Edit icon next to Courses.
Invite the user
When you are happy the user is in the right group and has the courses you want, you can now 'Invite' the user. Click Invite and then Send.

This will send an email to the user notifying them that their account has been set up. It offers them a link to click, taking them to a page where they can check their details, set a password and enter their account.
Create a user in no group
Click Users on the left to go to the top level users list (not in a group).
Create the user
- From the users list go to Add user.
- Fill out Email, Forename and Surname.
- Click save the user is not created but is in no group. The user has no courses or licences.
Add a licence
As the user is not in a group (which may have a licence assigned to it) the user will not get any licences or courses automatically. You will have to add a licence.
- Select the user
- On the right hand side, click the + next to Licences
- Select from the available licences and click Add

This will add a licence to the user, and all the courses in that licence.
If you don't want the user to have all of the courses click the edit icon next to Courses. Click on all the courses you want to remove and then Save. You can Ctrl and Shift click to select multiple courses to remove.
Add to a group
With the user selected, click the Edit icon next to Groups. Click Add then select a group(s). Click Add again to confirm.

Invite the user
With the user selected, click Invite and then Send.
